Welcome to STAR!! My name is Melanie Black and I am STAR Treasurer this year. The Society Budgets were released yesterday, and I have some great news, STAR was allocated £150 for the 2005-2006 school year! This money will allow us to launch some great events on campus.
Special thanks to the STAR committee for doing such a good job getting organized and brainstorming some really fantastic events, I think that made the difference in getting the money we asked for. And specifically I would like to thank our Event’s Officer, Shayaan, for helping me with the budget and for pleading STAR’s case at the FSC meeting!
If you have any STAR related monetary concerns, feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you throughout the year and hope to see you at the next STAR meeting!
