-Context:
Touching the Margins is a 3-year innovative project (now in its third year) aimed at engaging and supporting disadvantaged young men, aged 18-30, in London.

The project focused on two groups of disadvantaged and marginalised young men living in London:
>refugees and asylum-seekers, based at the Refugee Advice & Support Centre (RASC) in Hammersmith
>Bangladeshis (new arrivals and those born in the UK), based at the Bengali Workers’ Association (BWA) centre in Camden.

The Touching the Margins seminar will provide practitioners, policy makers and opinion-formers with an opportunity to find out: 1) how this project was developed and why it is significant, 2) the process and outcomes of the project and 3) lessons to be learned.

Copies of the Touching the Margins report are available on request. Please contact: d.kohli@workingwithmen.org or call 02072375353

Working With Men (WWM) designed, and consulted on, the Touching the Margins project. WWM is a registered charity that supports the development of work with boys and men. For more information, visit: www.workingwithmen.org

The Touching the Margins initiative is supported and was funded by the City Parochial Foundation and John Lyon’s Charity.
